Brief introduction:

The train’s brake rigging including car brake lever(front), car brake lever(back), pull rods, slack adjuster, bogie brake lever, swing lever, brake beam and push rod.

There are car brake lever and truck brake lever (bogie brake lever) in the brake rigging, according to the position mounted. The car brake lever is fixed on the automatic brake shoes clearance adjuster (slack adjuster). One end is connected to the brake cylinder and the other end is connected to the bogie through the connecting pull rod. Truck brake lever is fixed on the brake beam. The brake levers, together with the pull rods and connecting bushing, transmit the brake force produced by the brake cylinder to the brake shoes, and the brake shoe directly rubs the wheel, so that the train brakes.

There are 4 holes on car brake lever and 3 holes on bogie brake lever. The holes size and distance on the brake lever is determined by the braking ratio of the vehicle model. The size of levers is designed to comply with the whole brake system requirement. The brake lever is generally made by forging and Ao-Bey wear resistant bushings are installed in the holes
